My name is Stephanie, owner of SoJo Boutique, or should I say co-owner? The real boss and inspiration behind the brand is a sweet, sassy (Now) 7-year-old, Sophie Jo (better known as SOJO)!

After becoming a new mom and facing the fears of missing out on all the little and big things in my daughter’s life, along with many poor online shopping experiences I decided to stop dreaming and start doing!

In 2019, when Sophie was just 2 years old I opened our online-only shop! I had a mission to bring mothers, like myself, unique, high-quality, durable baby/children fashion. Unlike most online boutiques I handpicked, curated, and inspected each piece for quality and sizing!

After the covid shut down I began to realize how important small businesses and communities are.

We grew from an online-only presence to a community presence. Where we hosted small business pop-up shops to encourage local women-owned businesses to keep going and to show shoppers the importance of supporting small businesses in the Rochester, Ny area.

While many life changes have happened my goal to teach my daughter the significance of independence and chasing her dreams persisted as we opened our first storefront location in my hometown, Webster NY. We are conveniently located 10 mins from Rochester, Ny and many other local suburbs.

Not only do we carry baby/children’s fashion, but we have also grown to carry important necessities, gifts, and toys. Along with family fashion, parenthood products, and even a pet collection! There is something for everyone at SoJo Boutique.

We still believe in small business over everything and carry local women-owned items in our shop while still implementing our pop-up shop and fun craft events for kids! (Check our events page to see what is coming up).
